Mostra Estufa was launched in 2018 from a shared desire between Erva Daninha and Teatro Municipal do Porto to create space for new languages, aesthetics, and dramaturgies in contemporary circus.

It is an annual program aimed at nurturing new creations that bring circus closer to current artistic trends. In addition to the festival held at the end of the year, Estufa provides a range of support for artistic creation—funding, artistic residencies, communication, production, training, lighting, video, photography, technical assistance, and more—to help solidify the projects.
