Dual SIM

show indoor – dur. 40 min.

A contemporary circus project performed by two jugglers who challenge themselves to the constant and mandatory sharing of all resources. An exploration of networks, of the forms and structures of digital sharing. A study on the distribution of objects between two bodies—passes, catches, shared moments. A cycle that never ends, forcing the sharing of identity by inhabiting the same space with a Dual SIM.

In relation to space-time, we analyze internet network maps across the planet, email systems, and information-sharing structures. These crossed and multiplied lines, which amidst the chaos, create constellations of natural beauty. Through this investigation, we merge juggling with compulsory passing as a rule. A winding and interwoven path with a single composition in the form of electricity that powers the entire circuit.

Os dois intérpretes jogam a regra da partilha constante, levando o público a perder a noção de corpo-corpo e identidade-identidade.
The two performers play by the rule of constant sharing, leading the audience to lose track of body-to-body and identity-to-identity. An inquiry into the universe of digital sharing, its growing momentum, advantages, and dependencies. The need for this constant flow of information and materials. A comparison between these pathways and the routes of goods—the distribution of physical materials around the world in relation to the digital realm. Paths – speeds – materials.
