BLUE – Margarida Montenÿ
BLUE is an aerial acrobatics project rooted in a reflection on affection and friction, intimacy and publicness, solo and collective. Throughout this intimate performance, a series of ephemeral, fragile, fleeting landscapes are built, serving as a test of endurance, tension, and resistance for the four bodies on stage.
Margarida Montenÿ works in the field of circus and performing arts. She has worked professionally with MIGUEL PEREIRA, CLÁUDIA NÓVOA, TEATRO MUSGO, CIRCO CAÓTICO, GRANDPA’S LAB, LILIANA GARCIA, COMPANHIA ERVA DANINHA, and DANIEL SEABRA, among others. As a creator, she highlights the project Simulacro, in partnership with CARMINDA SOARES, a coproduction of TEATRO DAS FIGURAS, TEATRO MUNICIPAL DO PORTO, and INSTÁVEL – CENTRO COREOGRÁFICO.

PINDORAMA – Victor Abreu
Pindorama is a solo of acrobatic dance. It is also a kind of fantastical narrative, told by an acrobat on a journey to discover his identity and origins. A voyage inspired by the colors, sounds, and dances of Brazil. Elements of nature inhabit the space: bamboo trunks, tree stumps, branches, leaves. The character interacts with this space and transforms it through his revelry. His body merges with the exotic imagery of ancient legends and mythological beings, taking a gentle dive into the waters of Brazilian culture.
Victor Abreu is a Brazilian artist living in Portugal since 2018. He trained in circus arts at SCUOLA VERTIGO – ITALY, between 2008 and 2010. He has worked as a performer with several companies such as CIRQUE ÉLOIZE, UMPOR1, and ERVA DANINHA. In São Paulo, from 2013 to 2018, he worked with his own company, CIA DA PEGADA, and created the shows Andarilho and Jornada do Herói. Until 2022, he was a resident teacher at INAC – INSTITUTO NACIONAL DE ARTES DO CIRCO, and collaborated with ACE – ESCOLA DAS ARTES. He currently teaches acrobatic dance at ESMAE – ESCOLA SUPERIOR DE MÚSICA E ARTES DO ESPETÁCULO, and several disciplines at SCUOLA VERTIGO.

RUT/URA – David David
RUT/URA It is a performance that explores the human emotions that lead us into a process of sabotage and result in self-destruction. Based on a creative and physical investigation into exhaustion and the limits of the architecture of the human body, these emotions are embodied in the relationship between a body and a metal trapeze.
David David is originally from Porto (1997) and is a professional aerial acrobat, specializing in trapeze and aerial silks. He graduated in circus arts from INAC – Instituto Nacional de Artes do Circo in 2022. He holds a degree in physics from the University of Porto, where he focused on nuclear and elementary particle physics. He is currently a teacher of aerial techniques and flexibility at INAC.
