CIRCO ELÉTRICO – 2022/23
O Circo Elétrico was created through the Active Citizens Programme and is part of axis 3, which aims to empower vulnerable groups. It is funded by public resources from Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway (EEA Grants), with the support of the CALOUSTE GULBENKIAN FOUNDATION and the BISSAYA BARRETO FOUNDATION.
The Centro Social do Soutelo, the Companhia Erva Daninha and the Fundação Salesianos (Delegação do Porto – Projeto Solsal), re the entities responsible for implementing the project, which ran from May 2022 to July 2023.
The project targets young people aged 18 to 30 in situations of economic vulnerability NEET Not in Education, Employment or Training (Not in Education, Employment or Training) in the municipalities of Porto and Gondomar.
ALDEAR – 2021 – artistic project by the INTERMUNICIPAL COMMUNITY OF TÂMEGA E SOUSA, aiming to enhance intermunicipal identity and territorial cohesion link
ESQUECI – 2019 – artistic project (training/intervention) with young people from the CENTRO EDUCATIVO STO ANTÓNIO – performance at TRENGO 2019
CASA – 2017 – artistic project (training/intervention) with youth from care homes in Viseu – co-produced by VISEU TERCEIRO, VISEU MUNICIPAL COUNCIL
LOCOMOTIVA – 2015 – training and artistic creation project with site-specific performance
