In the 2024/2025 season, Alan Sencades joins Erva Daninha as an Associated Artist. Through this new program, we aim to support the growth of creative artists working within new circus languages. We enhance their creative process with various tools such as workspace, executive production, technical support, artistic guidance, and financial assistance — by promoting their work and integrating it into other Erva Daninha projects. In doing so, we hope to contribute to the structuring and professionalization of contemporary circus, creating opportunities and visibility for those committed to research and creation. Included in this support is the new co-creation by Alan Sencades and Alvin Yong, “RIMA”, which Erva Daninha will produce as a satellite project.
