Encontramo-nos num espaço entre o nada e o vazio, entre os extremos de um vão que temos de superar. Encontramo-nos entre o que somos e o que projetamos ser. Partindo da simplicidade de uma estrada, o trabalho de pesquisa foca na ideia de percurso | erro | repetição + a constante do equilíbrio ou a procura dele. “VÃO” inspira-se na sua própria história. Uma longa caminhada onde, embora tendo fé no livre arbítrio, somos engolidos pelas circunstâncias das nossas vidas e dos outros. A apropriação da realidade para a cena em si transforma o projeto no desafio constante de sairmos da sala de ensaios, do palco, do circo e chegar apenas à nota certa que afina e desafina.

We find ourselves in a space between nothing and emptiness, between the extremes of a gap that we have to overcome. We stand between who we are and what we project to be. Starting from the simplicity of a road, the research work focuses on the idea of ​​a route | mistake | repetition + the equilibrium constant or the search for it. “VAIN” is inspired by its own story. A long walk where, while having faith in free will, we are swallowed by the circumstances of our lives and others. The appropriation of reality for the scene itself turns the project into the constant challenge of leaving the rehearsal room, the stage, the circus and getting only the right note that tunes and untunes.

Uma investigação sobre o percurso, o trajeto e a transformação do corpo nas adversidades do caminho. Uma estrada congestionada de informação, ilusão e tempestades interiores. Um espetáculo de circo contemporâneo que através da acrobacia e manipulação de objetos, desafia o espetador num ambiente intenso e imprevisível.

An investigation of the route, the path and the transformation of the body in the adversities of the way. A road congested with information, illusion and inner storms. A contemporary circus show that, through acrobatics and object manipulation, challenges the viewer in an intense and unpredictable environment.
